The South West Regional Economic Task Group meets monthly.

First Meeting

Its first meeting was held on Friday 7th November 2008, in the South West RDA's Sterling House headquarters in Exeter.

At this meeting, its Terms of Reference were agreed and a number of work strands were initiated to take the Task Group’s work forward.

Second Meeting

The Group’s second meeting was held on Friday 5th December 2008, at the Thistle Hotel, Exeter.

The meeting was given an overview of the current economic situation by the RDA’s Chief Economist, Nigel Jump, and an update on the recent announcements in the Pre-Budget Report and on the Sub-National Review. Its four work strands also reported on progress they had made in the last month.
